Washed merinos blanket

Some time ago my mother bought me a very nice blanket. It was winter and I was always complaining about how cold it was in our house, because our central heating was not working properly and I desperately wanted to feel warmer, especially at night, when I was supposed to sleep, but I couldn"t, because of the cold. My mother said, she would buy me a merinos blanket and I didn"t even know, what that meant. When my mother came home with the merinos blanket, she explained to me, that it was made of special merinos wool, which was very expensive, because it was one of the best wools on the market. I was very happy to have that merinos blanket, because after the first night I realized, that I felt so warm underneath it, that it couldn"t be better. I was so glad and so thankful, but then after a few days I spilt some juice on that merinos blanket. I was afraid that my mother would get angry with me and so I went to the bathroom and put the merinos blanket into the washing machine, when my mother was not at home. I washed it, but I had no idea, that wool should be washed at a certain temperature. I washed it the regular way and it shrunk in the washing machine! I was so angry and so sad, that I didn"t know what to do. My mother came home and saw me crying and then she noticed what happened to the merinos blanket. She got really mad.
